Glastir
Glastir is a whole farm land management scheme open to all farmers and land managers throughout Wales.
Successful applicants will make a commitment to deliver environmental goods for five years under a legally binding contract.

The All Wales Element comprises of 3 main components:

· Cross Compliance - a set of compulsory requirements which applies to all your agricultural land:

· The Whole Farm Code (WFC) - this applies to all the land entered into the contract.

· Management options - you will be able to select from a range of options which are best suited to your farm. A minimum number of options will be required in order to reach your points threshold

Glastir Entry 2014
A new ‘anytime’ application process has been introduced for 2014. Applicants may request packs from Divisional Offices from 1 January 2013. This includes those that expressed an interest on 2012 SAFs.

Glastir Entry Applications received by 31 July 2013 will also be included in the selection pool for 2015 Glastir Advanced contracts and 2015 Glastir Efficiency Grants.

Applicants may submit their application anytime throughout 2013. Applications received by 30 September will be processed in time for a contract start date of 1 January 2014.
