Our new signs at the Bridgend Office - Opening August 11th.

Award-winning estate agents Herbert R Thomas (HRT) has announced its new Bridgend office will be open from Monday 11th August.

HRT’s office is part of the Elder Mews regeneration scheme, a mixed use development project led by HD Limited.

As part of its launch in Bridgend, HRT has agreed a new partnership with Oldcastle Primary School PTA.  During the next academic year, HRT will be involved in helping the PTA raise vital funds to continue to develop the school.

The estate agents will be donating t-shirts for parents and teachers taking part in the Snowdon challenge in September this year, a team from HRT will also be taking part in the challenge.

Throughout the year, HRT will be running several competitions for students, including a photography competition.

Gavin Rees, partner at HRT, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to open our new office. We’ve been experiencing a significant increase for our services in the Bridgend area so opening an office in the town centre was a natural progression for the company. Bridgend is undergoing considerable regeneration at the moment and it’s great to be a part of this exciting future for the town.

“We’re also delighted to announce our partnership with Oldcastle PTA. Supporting the local community is something that is very important to us at HRT and we are looking forward to helping the PTA continue to support and develop the school.”

Sara Peters, chair of Oldcastle Primary School PTA, said: “Oldcastle Primary School PTA is thrilled to be supported by HRT estate agents. The funding will allow the PTA to make a substantial donation to Oldcastle School as part of our pledge to replace all the reading scheme books for children from the age of three through to eleven years.”

The donation to Oldcastle Primary School PTA follows the sponsorship of Mair’s Walk earlier this year and adds to the Cowbridge office’s partnerships with Y Bont Faen Primary School PTA and Cowbridge RFC.

This will be the third office for HRT, which already has offices in Cowbridge and Neath, and has come as a result of increased demand for its services within the area.

Led by partners Andrew Thomas, Philip Thomas, Robert Calcaterra and Gavin Rees, the company has taken on 1500 sq ft of office space on the ground floor of the Toll House, a three storey, grade two listed building within the heart of the town centre.

Founded in 1926, Herbert R Thomas is a multi-discipline property agency specialising in residential sales and lettings, commercial property transactions, property development, auctions and agricultural services. The company continually insists on the highest standards of customer care across all departments, to offer an unrivalled service to its customers.
